Tonight Sarah advanced from Brownies to Girl Guides. Hardly imaginable how that girl is so big already! There was a big celebration at a nearby park where Sparks went up to Brownies (but not Alison yet, still another year to go), Brownies to Guides, and Guides to Pathfinders. The guides sang a beautiful song to welcome the new Brownies, and I think Sarah is really going to like joining this group that sings such songs. Our lovely singer will fit right in!
Alison was quite upset that she doesn't get to go to Brownies for a whole year longer. She did, however, enjoy the hot dog and Doritos they served, as well as the giant glob of bubblegum she won in the games.
