The search for snow

We had to drive all the way to Lake Louise yesterday to find some snow, so we had to make the most of it.

We all went cross-country skiing,


We tried out our new snowshoes (thanks, Gramma!),

and we skated by the ice castle at the Chateau Lake Louise.


Rustle, who has been missing snow for at least 3 weeks, was thrilled with the snowbanks.
